Preserve your Batik

Let’s make your “batik”  well-preserved and durable

                Fashion is one of important role in creating the century. Many styles of fashion has been introduced by some artists or famous people also celebrities. Nowadays the famous style of fashion is “Batik”. It gains its popularity from the various motif and picture. As time goes by, the motif, picture and colour may be faded. Some manufacturer made fade-proof “Batik” motif, but the price must be expensive and high profile. Now, let me tell you the way to preserve your “Batik”.

• ·         First , washing. Some “Batik” cloth or fabric in designing motif and colour use wax or paraffin layer mixed with natural or artificial colour. It needs special treatment, you can separate the way you wash. Don’t use strong softener content detergent, it will dissolve the wax and discolor the “Batik”. Don’t wash together the “Batik” cloth with plain colour or white cloth, it will fade to the plain colour or white cloth. Don’t soak the “Batik” for long period.
• ·         Second, drying. After washing, you can use clothes wringer or manual. Don’t dry directly to the sunlight. Dry the cloth reverse side.
• ·         Third, ironing . “Batik” is welcome to be ironed. The wax or paraffin will not stick to the iron. use the lower heat for the thin fabric and higher heat for the thick fabric.
